Jersey Club is more than music—it’s a movement. Rooted in the late 90’s and born in the early 2000’s, Jersey Club has grown from a Newark sound into a global culture, defined by rhythm, creativity, and unstoppable energy.
At Jersey CLUB EVOLUTION, we honor the history, highlight the influences, and break down the language of the dance so it continues to thrive for the next generation.
HISTORY & INFLUENCES
The foundation of Jersey Club was laid in the 90’s, inside iconic spaces like Zanzibar Club, where house, hip hop, and poppin’ collided to create a new groove. That influence carried into the 2000’s, where producers and dancers shaped the raw sound and movement that became uniquely Jersey.
